The Art of Moving + Breathing
Qigong can be done at any pace, but ideally, it is done slowly so that the practitioner can experience how their body feels on a cellular level while making movement. At first, it can be difficult because we don’t know how to feel our own bodies in space and going slow makes us feel uncomfortable. For that reason this class is a medium pace, although some of you may feel it is slow. Regardless, the challenge is to check in, feel the space around you and feel your body as it changes the air both outside and within you. When done regularly over time, qigong will change the fluidity with which you move.
