Covid Protocols and Policies

Covid-19 Protocols and Policies (updated August 30, 2021)

Rise Gatherings is committed to keeping the safety of our retreat attendees clearly in focus at all times while creating meaningful and fun retreat experiences. Throughout the pandemic, Rise has been and will continue to rely upon CDC and state/local requirements and recommendations around COVID-19 safety.

Based on current CDC and state/local guidance, Rise intends to implement the following policies for the Getaway Weekend; however, they are subject to change:

Covid-19 Vaccine:
All weekend participants will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to entering the Trails End facility. Participants will submit vaccination records via Bindle, a secure health records app, within 24 hours of their arrival. Any participant who fails to provide proof of vaccination will be denied admission and will not receive a refund or credit for their tickets. Please see the Vaccine-Related Cancellation Policy for more information.

Vaccine Related Cancellations:
Ticket holders who purchased a ticket before August 20, 2021 (when the vaccination policy was added) that are no longer able to attend because they are not vaccinated are entitled to a full credit or refund. All refund requests must be sent to info@risegatherings.com by September 4, 2021 in order to receive a credit or refund.

Testing:
Prior to entering the Trails End facility, all weekend participants will be required to present proof of a negative  COVID-19 PCR test, taken within 72-hours of arrival.* Participants will submit test results via Bindle, a secure health records app,  before their arrival. Any participant who fails to provide test results will be denied admission and will not receive a refund or credit for their tickets. Should any participant obtain a positive test result, they will be entitled to a full credit for a future Rise Gatherings Weekend Getaway.

* In most cases PCR tests are returned within 48 hours. We recommend testing where rapid PCR tests are offered. That said, if you do not receive your PCR test results in time, we will have a limited number of rapid PCR tests at the Weekend Getaway and you will be tested upon arrival and required to wear your mask and stay outdoors until your results come in on 9/24.

Masks:
At this time, all Weekend participants will be required to wear masks while inside communal spaces. Per the CDC’s guidance, masks will not be required outside, unless social distancing cannot be maintained. As the CDC and state/local health authorities continue to revise guidance around masks, we will continue to update our policy to reflect the latest revisions.

Social Distancing:
Whenever possible, Rise will take advantage of the great outdoor space available to us during the retreat. Some workshops, however, will require indoor space. Rise has taken social distancing into account when planning workshop capacity limits.
Pre-registration for workshops will allow for limiting the number of women in each workshop.

Guests with Symptoms:
Should any guest develop COVID-19 symptoms while on the retreat, they are required to notify the Rise Gatherings professional staff at Rise Central immediately. The guest will be immediately removed from common areas and will be required to isolate until such time as they are able to safely leave the facility. Any impacted areas will be thoroughly disinfected and guests who may have had close contact with the impacted person will be notified immediately.

Participation Agreement:
All guests will be asked to sign the Rise Weekend Participation Agreement and attest to their current state of well-being, that if they have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 30 days that they have proof of recovery, that they have not had close contact with a confirmed or suspected case within the last 14-days, and that they have not been advised to self-quarantine within the last 14-days. In signing the agreement, guests also agree to comply with all of Rise’s COVID-19 policies and protocols.

Trail’s End:
Our Weekend home, Trails End, is committed to adhering to all mandated precautions. Trails End staff serving meals are vaccinated and will be wearing masks throughout the entire weekend. Cleaning staff will not be entering guest housing during the duration of the stay. All common areas are cleaned and sanitized daily.
