We're glad you have a question. Because we are here to provide you with answers.

What time does Rise Gathering begin and end?

Check in for the weekend is from 1 – 2pm on Friday, May 18th. Our first shared meal is dinner, so we recommend stopping for lunch on the way to camp! Friday afternoon is yours to settle in to your weekend home and enjoy the beautiful spaces before joining in for some all camp activities geared to get you grounded and grooving. If you are going to be arriving late please let us know in advance.

Departure is 10am on Sunday after your morning Rise Up workout and love-fueled brunch.

Can I leave early?

Say what? You won’t want to leave! Although attendees are allowed to leave early, we strongly encourage you to stay for the entire experience. Rise is packed with so much goodness that if you are planning on leaving early, you’ll probably change your mind. We recommend that you plan accordingly and enjoy the entire experience. If you need to leave early, please inform us before Rise begins.

What are the accommodations like?

Amazing! Trail’s End is a premier overnight camp in the summer months as well as a wedding and retreat center for adult groups in the fall and spring.

There are a variety of options for accommodations. Please see our full list of accommodations so you can decide for yourself if you want to sleep in a cabin with 6 – 8 other women, in a  quaint space with one or two friends, or in your own private room. All of the accommodations include linens and towels, are a step out the door into nature, and have clean bathrooms, sinks, and showers.

Bunking Requests? You can get snuggy in a bunk or private room with your friends and family that are coming for the weekend! Provide us with your requests at ticket purchase or send us an email and we will be sure you are with your requests.

Will I need to bring my own bedding and towels?

Nope – we’ve got you covered! You will be provided with bedding basics: towels, sheets, one pillow and a lightweight blanket.  Feel free to supplement with your own cozy supplies if you think you’ll want more coverage!  Check the weather and throw in an extra blanket if you think you’ll need one! Don’t worry, in addition to linens, we will send you a detailed packing list so you are fully prepared.

What if I go solo?

You will be in good company! Some women come with their friends, co-workers, sisters, mothers, daughters or neighbors, and many also come on their own. We provide bonding opportunities to cultivate community, as well as ample spaces to sit quietly by yourself.  It’s your dream weekend, heed the call that’s coming from within!  If you come on your own with a regular price ticket we will assign you to a bunk with other awesome women like you who said “I’m coming solo!”

Do I need to sign up for anything in advance?

It’s all taken care of! The weekend is beautifully curated for you to create your own experience and choose from our 40+ workshop and workout offerings. A few weeks before the weekend you will receive an email with the  full description of Rise workshops and facilitators and have the opportunity to reserve your spot in the workshops of your choosing.

What if I don’t meditate or do yoga?

That’s cool! Retreats aren’t just for yogis!  There is a diverse array of offerings and every workshop welcomes the first timer and the pro.

What are the workshops like?

Transformative, fun and freeing! Rise Gathering workshops are facilitated experiences. In addition to imparting wisdom and tools, your workshop leaders will facilitate a full experience that may have you moving, talking, thinking and connecting – as much as you’d like within your comfort zone (or just beyond!).  We limit the number of participants in each workshop in order to keep them small and ensure an intimate space where you can have a meaningful experience with yourself and others.

Should I bring money?

Up to you! There will be a “canteen” with lots of awesome swag, gifts and treats for you to purchase (cash or credit card) if you desire.  But this can for sure be a no wallet weekend – all meals and workshop experiences are included.

What kind of food will be served?

All food has been selected and designed to give you the most freshly prepared, wholesome nourishment throughout the weekend with ideas to bring home to your kitchen! There is something for everyone  – vegan, paleo, gluten free, you name it!  We prioritize plant powered nutrition to fuel you with as many whole food nutrients as possible.  You will be inspired by the meals prepared for you to enjoy a high vibe, socially conscious weekend. We are offering workshops to educate you on the idea of fueling yourself this way in your life beyond the retreat.

If there is anything specific you need, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We are here to accommodate you.

Are there age restrictions to attend?

Yep. You must be at least 18 to attend this event alone and at least 14 to attend accompanied by an adult. However, there is no age limit for enjoying this experience! It is for growing women in all stages and phases of life!

Contact us if you’d like to discuss further!

What do I need to bring?

Think minimal! No need for excess this weekend except for excessive fun and experiences. You will need clothing and toiletry essentials. Also think about what activities you wish to participate in and pack accordingly. Think yoga mat and sneakers! You can find our Full Packing List (coming soon!) here.

How far is Rise Gathering from Philadelphia and NYC?

So close! It’s a perfect road trip from the tri-state area! Trail’s End Camp, home of the Rise Gathering weekend, is about 2 hours from both Philly and NYC.  Map it here!

Is there any transportation provided?

We wish we could pick you up and road trip there together with the windows down as we sing out loud – but no, there will not be transportation provided.  It would be our pleasure to help connect you with others and coordinate car pools.

Is there an airport nearby?

Wilkes Barre Scranton International Airport is about an hour away from Trail’s End Camp, and Newark International Airport is 2 hours away.

What about the weather?

What about the weather?! The weather will have no effect on the power of Rise Gatherings! All workshops and activities will have fab indoor locations to gather in case of rain. Many meeting spaces and all bunks will have heat going if needed. Some meeting spaces have air conditioning, but we doubt we will need that – the Poconos tend to be delightfully cool in May.

Can I use my phone?

This is highly encouraged digital detox experience (thank you Levi Felix). We invite you to disconnect with email, social media, phone calls, even Amazon and Candy Crush for the weekend in order to connect full with the Rise experience. Cell phone use is restricted to private spaces out of view and earshot of others.  If you’d like to go “full detox” we offer a cell-phone check in upon arrival. Notify your loved ones that you are taking this time for you.

Is there alcohol?

Nope. Drugs and alcohol are not a part of this experience. Rise is about discovering that natural high and living purely within it.

I can't come to the Annual Weekend..what else does Rise Gatherings offer?

2018 has only one Annual Weekend (May 18-20), but we Rise all year long! We host day retreats in New Hope, PA throughout the year, pop up events at studios, and can even come to you!  Contact us if you are interested in creating a unique birthday celebration, staff development, off-site, even a  college, book club or family reunion with Rise Gatherings – we’d love to create an uplifting, bonding and empowering experience for your group.

What is the cancellation policy?

Wah! We will be so sad if you cancel, but we understand that life happens. Payments will be refunded for either 50% of the ticket price paid or full credit towards a future Rise Gathering if cancellation is received before April 18 (a month prior to event). Cancellations made during the 30 days leading up to the event will receive a credit that may be applied for a ticket to a future Rise Gathering. No credit or refund is available if you cancel on arrival day, if you do not show up or if you leave early.

What if there's an emergency?

We hope not, but In case of emergency on camp grounds, we will help in whatever capacity is needed. We will have trained professionals on staff in case of illness or accident. There is also a hospital close by if needed.

I have a question not on this FAQ, what should I do?
