Located in the Northeast corner of Pennsylvania on beautiful Beach Lake, Trail’s End 450 sprawling acres provide Rise Gathering weekend with the best of the gorgeous Pocono Mountains. Trail’s End is recognized as a premier summer camp and event space where the peace and beauty of a mountain getaway meet the comfort and service of a resort. We are taking over a kids’ camp with the addition of adult pleasantries!
The Cabins are immersed in nature and you step off your front porch into the serene setting. Each cabin has wood floors, a room for sleeping, a changing room and a community bathroom. The Cabins are approximately 1,400 square feet, sleep 6-8 adults and are perfect for anyone looking for a little extra bonding with your cabin mates throughout the weekend.
In a horseshoe pattern amidst tall trees and lush greenery, the Cottages offer 1 to 3 guests a lovely private getaway. Cottages are offered with either a queen size bed (single occupancy), two twin beds (double occupancy), or a larger triple occupancy cottage has a queen and a twin bed. All cottages have a private bathroom. The Cottages are perfect for anyone looking for more privacy and quiet than the Cabins.
The Inn at Trail’s End is the premier lodging choice for those seeking comfort and style. This 9-room modern lodge is designed with hotel style rooms, complete with flat screen TVs, wireless internet, private bathrooms and a communal kitchenette. Each Inn room is approximately 275 square feet and contains a queen bed.
Our workshops and facilitators shine in the well accommodated spaces. Yoga and dance studios, a state of the art demo kitchen, open air pavilions, an art studio with mountain view decks and a fully equipped fitness center are just a few of the spaces we will utilize. Whether it’s yoga in the apple orchard, a sister circle at the beach campfire site, a gathering in one of the gazebos, or a dance party in the outdoor amphitheater, Trail’s End provides the perfect rustic beauty of nature as the grounds for all of Rise Gatherings offerings.
The 6,000 square foot dining hall is the jewel of the camp – its magnificent vaulted ceiling, eye grabbing floor to ceiling stone fireplace and hardwood floors are the gathering place for meals and more. Enjoy gorgeous views of the rolling hills as you are nourished by Trail’s End first class catering.
The only sounds you hear as you walk around the camp are those created by the serene nature that surrounds you. The camp belongs 100 percent to Rise Gatherings women for the entire retreat experience and the grounds are yours to explore. Stroll along the lake, sit in an adirondack chair, lie in the grass, or pick up a basketball, tennis racket or softball glove. There is ample time for you to “do you” and immerse yourself in your breath-taking surroundings, either solo or with old or new found friends.
Spring weather in the Pocono mountains is typically gorgeous – picture cool breezes rolling off the lake and flowers budding on every branch. It’s usually chilly enough to get cozy in a sweatshirt in the morning and evening and warm enough to bare your shoulders in the daytime sun. If mother nature throws us a curve ball we will be well accommodated at Trail’s End – the cabins, cottages and inn as well as many meeting spaces have heat, and some spaces have air conditioning.
